What are PDO threads? PDO threads consist of polydioxanone, a material used in medicine for many years. The threads are very thin and are inserted into the skin using a needle. Once in place, they support the skin and help lift and tighten the area. In addition, the threads stimulate collagen production, resulting in long-term benefits.

One of the great things about PDO threads is that they work on many different areas of the body. They are commonly used to improve the appearance of the face, neck, and chest but can also treat other areas such as the arms and legs. In addition, PDO threading is a minimally-invasive way to achieve noticeable results with minimal downtime. So please don't wait any longer; call us today to book your appointment for PDO Threads! You'll feel more confident and love the way you look and feel.

PDO Thread Lift Explained

PDO thread lifts are a cosmetic procedure that can help improve the appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin, similar to a facelift. The threads consist of a dissolvable material called polydioxanone, which is a type of synthetic fiber.

During the procedure, the threads are inserted into the skin using fine needles. Once in place, the threads help to lift and support the skin. In addition, the threads stimulate the production of collagen, which can further help improve the skin's appearance.

PDO thread face lift are a safe and effective way to achieve a more youthful appearance without invasive surgery and can last up to 18 months.

What to Expect

The PDO Thread Lift procedure takes less than an hour to complete. Here is the treatment explained step-by-step:

  1. Before the procedure, your certified practitioner will apply numbing cream to the treatment area to help minimize any discomfort.
  2. During the PDO Thread Lift procedure, your practitioner will insert a thin needle into the skin and then gently guide the surgical threads into place.
  3. Once the threads are in place, your practitioner will use special instruments to twist and knot them, which helps to secure the threads in place. You may feel some tugging and pulling during this part of the procedure, but you should not feel any pain.
  4. After the PDO Thread Lift procedure is complete, your practitioner will remove any excess thread and apply a bandage to the treatment area.

After the treatment, you will likely experience some swelling and bruising, but this should resolve within a few days. Most clients can return to their normal activities within 24 hours!
